Goodluck Ogu
Holds a MBA in Marketing from University of Lagos. Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics & Extension from Imo State University in 2000. He is a member of several professional bodies notable among them is National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and Crop Life, Nigeria.
Goodluck Ogu began his career with Syngenta Nigeria Limited as the Marketing Manager between 2005 and 2009. He rose to the position of National Sales Manager in 2009 to 2011. He joined Syngenta Seed BV, Switzerland as Product Manager, West Africa where he was responsible for West African Countries in the area of Vegetable Seed Development. His areas of coverage include Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone, Chad, Senegal, Angola, Congo, and Benin Republic…
Between 2013 and 2014, he was made the Commercial/Technical Crop Expert for Syngenta Nigeria Limited to provide technical field expert skills for cocoa, vegetables, potatoes, cassava for Southern Nigeria. His wealth of knowledge and expertise made Syngenta Nigeria Limited in 2014 to make him the Marketing Campaign Manager with the responsibility for all marketing and campaign related activities of the Company which also include launch of new products in the market, Support the Technical and Program Management team in positioning Demos and Trials with Research institute in the country to project.
Mr Ogu, is a Certified trainer for Crop Life Africa and Middle East on Good Agricultural Practices, Crop safety and Crop protection.
In 2015, he joined Monsanto, a US-based world class Agribusiness manufacturing company as Sales Lead for West Africa. He is responsible for all Sales and Marketing in Nigeria for Seeds, Crop protection and Biotechnology innovation.
He is a strategist, a team player and a goal getter. He is widely travelled locally and internationally and has attended several trainings at abroad in Switzerland , Netherlands, USA and at home with IFDC, Crop Life Africa, MAN, to mention but a few.
Chukwuemeka Akanno
He graduated with B.Sc in Agric Economics from the Imo State University in 2000.
Akanno Emeka started work with Seamaster Oil Mill Ltd between 1998 – 2000 where he worked as a Marketing Manager and was in charge of marketing their products.
In 2006, he worked for Falcon Airlines as a Marketing Agent. He later moved on to C.G. Biostadt Ltd (2009 – 2011) where he worked as a Partnership Agronomist. At Biostadt Ltd, he was into sales and Marketing, conducted trainings for Farmers and did Demonstration of Agrochemical and Field trial.
Currently, he works for X-gem’s Global Ltd as the Regional Commercial Supervisor and covers the Eastern Region including the South South part of Nigeria. He is in charge of sales of Seed within that area and also into training.
He is creative, has excellent Human relations skills and believes in honesty.
Steve A. Adeyemi
He hails from Kogi State in Nigeria. He holds a PGD in Agricultural Economics from Nassarawa State University in 2014 and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Ahmadu Bello University in 2005. He holds a Hon. PHD in Human Resources and Employment Relations from Pennstate World Outreach (Kansas) in 2013. Also, he has Certification for the following; Conduct and Management of Field Trials (Syngenta/IITA) 2014, Business Communication and Report writing Skills (Tom Associates) 2014, Registered Pest and Vector Control Operators and Chemical Dealers (Public Health Department, FCTA) 2011.
Steven started work at Aqua – Science based Resources between 2007 – 2009 as a Manager.
Furthermore, he later joined Swiss Biostadt Limited where he works as the Territorial Manager and has been working there since 2010 till date. He is experienced in the agricultural business and widely travelled.
Steve is a master trainer in the North on all crops including vegetables. His management skill in staff handling has given several upliftment within the organization he has worked.
He is a man of Integrity, very creative, a Team Builder and Coordinator. He has been instrumental to creating value in Kogi and Kano state that lead to youth farmers emerging thereby reducing the rate of conflict arising from idleness.
GEORGE SELASIE OCLOO
He is a Ghanaian who graduated from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Kumasi, with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Science Engineering in 2003.
He started working with Gratis Foundation, Tarkoradi in 2003 as a Technical Assistant (National Service Person). In 2005 he moved on to Good Shepherd International School and Li Longwe Private , Malawi as an Expatriate Science Teacher. In 2008 he was a Research and Development Officer for Praire Volta Ltd, Aveyeme.
Later he moved on to Calli/Arysta Ghana Company Ltd as their Development and Marketing Officer/Seed /Pesticide Portfolio. In 2013, he worked with Dizengoff Ghana Ltd as their Agronomist. While with them, he developed a strategic Scheme called ‘Cocoa Akuafontia Scheme’for sale of Dizengoff Ghana Cocoa input packages.
Among the trainings he has attended are: Indoor Residual Spraying-Micro-Air groups/AngloGold Ashanti malaria control unit, Professional Success And Employable Skills- British council (2008), Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate- GIMPA (2009), Malaria & VBD control- MENTOR INITIATIVE (MI) (2012) Seed Development & Marketing In West Africa-Syngenta /Arysta Life science (2012), Greenhouse farming techniques and cultivation- Dizengoff Ghana June (2013), Agriculture Credit and Loans Course (2013) ,Financial and Stock management Course, 2015
He has attended Workshops on the following; Integrated Pest Management (IPM) & Safe Use of CPPs – Crop life Ghana, Identifying Fake & Adulterated Pesticides in the Agro-Input import and distribution Industry GAIDA, 2012, Rice Seed Value Chain-AGRA, 2012 , Fertilizer value chain supply -WAFA 2013.
He is a Trainer, an Organizer, a skilful Marketer and a Team Player.
ESTHER ISONG OGU
Is an English Language graduate of the National Open University of Nigeria, NOUN is a native of Akwa Ibom state in Nigeria. She worked for Ovado and Associate as a Front Desk Officer. While at Ovado and associate, she was responsible for customer relations and administrative task. She is well experienced in Event management, child care, Widow Empowerment Program and works well as a Music teacher. She is well travelled and has the poise to handle difficult situations. Esther will be highly involved in the company Foundation and CSR activities, where skills and competence are will be well aligned. She has good communication skills, goal driven, very proficient and proactive.
Joseph Agwulonu
Graduated with a B.Sc in Accounting from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 2007.
He started his Career with Oladipo B. and Co. (Chartered Accountants) as an Audit Trainee. Later he moved to another company called Memose Nigeria Ltd (Leasing Firm) were he worked as an Accountant between 2010 – 2012.
In 2012, he moved on to work at Lagos Resource Centre in Victoria Island where he worked as an Accountant. In 2014 he was made the Admin/Human Resource Manager and also handled Tax matters for the organisation.
In 2015, he started working with X-Gem’s Global Ltd as the Admin/Finance Manager. While with X-Gem’s, he attended a USDA program in Ghana called US-Sub-Saharan Africa Agribusiness Trade Mission. He has been to Epe, Oyo, Nassarawa, Kaduna and Katsina where he had encounter with Farmers.
He is very hard working, goal driven and a Team Player.
Agnes Aliyu
Who hails from Adamawa State graduated from the University of Maiduguri, Borno State where she obtained a B.Sc in Forestry and Wildlife.
Joined X-Gem’s Global Limited in 2015, an agricultural firm, Headquarters in Lagos State.
For X-Gem’s, she holds a position as a Commercial Associate were she tries to link up with Farmers within the northern region of Nigeria.
She attended training on vegetable production with ENTREPRENEUR YOUTH CO-OPERATIVE under the supervision in Saki Local Government Area, Oyo State. Also, she attended Nutritious Food Fair held at IITA, Kubwa, Abuja.
She has the ability to plan activities effectively, loves travelling and is a Team player.
Nkwocha Elizabeth C
She is a native of Umuiche Elelem in Ngor Okpala Local Government area in Imo state. An OND holder in Civil Engineering from Lagos state polytechnic, Ikorodu, Lagos State.
Her first job was with Martin Luther Cosmetics & Fashion Wears Limited Lagos Island where she worked as their sales Rep.
Elizabeth was one of the people who had undergone Navy entry level training in the year 2013 in owerri, Imo State.
She joined X-Gem’s Global Limited in 2014, an agricultural firm, headquarter in Lagos State as an Admin Officer.
She is a trained and certified SPRAY SERVICE PROVIDER by USAID program for Crop protection product. Also had a Training on Vegetable Production with Entrepreneur Youth Co-Operative in Saki local government Area, Oyo state.
She is goal driven and committed to her work.
Sylvanus Umoren
He is a native of Ikot Ntot in Mkpat Enin local government area, Akwa- Ibom state. He is a graduate of Economics from University of Calabar, Calabar. Cross River State.
He took part in the National Youth Service corps in Kano state, where he served with the Government secondary commercial school Kano. He was their Civic / Economics teacher for that service period.
He worked with AWACO Cosmetics Limited at Marina Lagos in several capacities where he held the position of Customer Service Agent and Account Officer. He moved on to work with Apapa local government council Lagos, under their traffic division.
He joined X-Gem’s Global Limited in 2015, an agricultural firm, headquarter in Lagos State as an Admin Supervisor. Following his hard work, passion and smart thinking along with practical field experience he moved to the post of Field and Operation Manager.
He is a trained and certified SPRAY SERVICE PROVIDER by USAID program for Crop protection product. He has also taken part in several practical training, workshop and conferences across the country and in Ghana.
Sylvanus has participated in several field days thought out the country with lot of multinational from france and the USA on seeds position.
He was as a participant representing X-Gem’s Global Limited on programmed organized by United State Development of Agriculture (USDA). 2015 Agribusiness Trade Mission to Sub-Saharan Africa (ATM) Accra, Ghana, on Building Partnerships and Expanding Market”. Where he met with participating U.S. agribusiness firms on mutual business interests.
